I think of my fence as a symbol of my life. I know it probably sounds odd, but it’s absolutely true. At first, I didn’t take care of my white wooden fence. It came with the house, and I gave it little thought or attention. Guess what? I wasn’t taking care of myself either. But there were consequences to my neglect. The fence began to slowly deteriorate. Eventually, I started all over. I removed the rotted fence and got a new one. This time I made sure the fence was protected with a heavy-duty stain. I researched proper fence care and discovered the wonderful post cap. These are protective design devices that are placed on top of fence posts.
