Downsizing Meant Needing Additional Storage

When my children grew up and moved away from home, I didn’t care to keep our big 4 bedroom 21/2 bathroom house. So my husband and I sold our big house and moved into a nice two bedroom free standing home. I had a couple garage sales and put some furniture in a consignment store and before long I had just enough furnishings for our new home but that simple life was not about to last long.

My youngest child had the opportunity to go to graduate school overseas. Now he had lived on his own for several years and had been an athlete all his life. This meant he had medals, trophies, and equipment to fill a room all by itself. When my son said, “Mom, what am I gonna do”? His dad and I started shopping for metal sheds.

We decided on purchasing storage shed kits. My husband assured me that he and my son could build it themselves, which they did. Like most parents, we were happy to help our son out and we got some additional storage we needed as well.
