My friends are jokers. They love to pull pranks and mess with each other, even at the gym. The group that I work out with often does heavy weight workouts with plates that are 100 lb each stacked on to 400 pounds or more. One thing that we find is important is to focus during the workout. Focus on what we’re doing, the breathing and especially the actual techniques used for each lift. Our gym also has a small rest area where you can lie down and relax on a mat; maybe even take a quick nap if you need one. He was out like a light in less than 5 minutes. On of my friends took one of the 100’s over there, set it on its edge, then gave it a spin like spinning a coin. It actually spun rather quietly at first, then as it lost speed, and we were far across the gym by then, it began to spin more horizontally, then ping the floor over and over like a loud bell until it finally stopped, waking up our friend (and everyone else in the gym) to a great roar of laughter.
