Sure, you may know the names of one or two service providers in your area. You might even find what they have to offer to be quite appealing. However, you truly need to know the names of ALL the providers in your area so as to be sure you are signing on with the right service.
Case in point: you may be aware that Verizon and Comcast service your area. Assuredly, you will be getting excellent service if you subscribe to either one of these providers. However, if you are unaware that AT&T is available in your area, you might miss out on something that you otherwise would have jumped on had you known about it.
