Wear a Beautiful Silver Brooch This Fall
As the weather gets cooler, we’ll all be getting out our favorite wool jackets. Why not wear a classy silver brooch on the lapel, something that’s really eye-catching. Since I’m an animal lover, I stick with gorgeous representations of exotic bird pins, sterling silver dog brooches and the like. It’s not that hard to find well-made pieces by local artists. Having said that, I must admit to shopping abroad on occasion as well. I have some antique costume jewelry that I still wear, but by far my current favorite is a lovely brooch pin I bought at a local Christmas art fair ten years ago.
Sterling silver adornments and other relatively inexpensive jewelry designs can be picked up wherever craftsmen and women can be found. Most often, this is at an arts and crafts fair, the kind held in so many communities throughout the year. I love to support the arts in my own way, plus find some great silver pieces to show off at the same time. It’s a win-win situation! I make the artists happy and they give me something to attract lots of oohs and ahhs!
